I fell asleep last night after returning home from going out with friends so I never was able to get the Photo of the Week up yesterday. Instead you'll get a combo special with that and the Video of the Week. I'll also leave you in suspense a little as to what each one is, with credit being given to the creative geniuses behind each at the bottom of this post. Enjoy!

I fixed this the other day and it was really simple to do. Start out with a hot grill (not sure of the temperature since my thermometer is missing) and then just add meat! I like charcoal and put my coals as close to the cooking grate as possible but go with whatever your preference is as you'll end up with a quick, delicious meal no matter what you use to get the job done. The steps are as follows:
We prepared zucchini and portabellas sliced, covered in balsamic vinegar and placed in aluminum foil for our side dishes and I enjoyed a glass of Duplin Winery's Scuppernog wine with the meal. All in all it was an easy night of grilling with a delicious end and I hope your results are the same. -C.B. Wow, where has the time gone? I know we've been MIA for going on a month now but work and life have kept Paul and I busy and with no finished blog entires in the draft column, well that left us with no content. That being said, I am making a concerted effort this afternoon and tonight to change that and I'll be armed with one of my cameras. Come this time tomorrow there will be videos of the venison recipe I am trying tonight, my recap of turkey season here in NC and a look at my new bow, and they will all be shared with you in the coming days and next week. I'll also finally get back on track with my filming in the outdoor series (I apologize for not fulfilling a states deadline on when that entry would be up). Hopefully Paul will be able to join me in getting caught up with the blog and website in a few weeks and we can head into the preparation for hunting season with little in the way of "distractions" to keep us from putting out quality and informative blog musings for our readers. Who knows, maybe a book by yours truly is on the horizon...if only in my mind for now...
