Seeing the outdoors for what they really are the first time is something you just can't put into words. That's because watching the sun cast shadows in all directions over the forest floor as it sets on the western horizon is magical. It's because you can't keep your heart from thumping out of your chest as a chocolate antlered whitetail shakes the frost off his winter coat right at daylight. Or what about the rush (and burning quads!) you get as you gingerly walk a rocky trail straight up the side of a mountain, the roar of a whitewater river that you have just fished hundreds of feet below you? No, it is impossible to describe to someone the above mentioned things, unless of course they have been lucky enough to experience them as well. But that is why Inside Out exists. It is a place where those unfamiliar can come to get their first glimpse at what lies just out their door. Where outdoor enthusiasts can sit back and, upon reading or seeing a certain thing, relive an experience that left them breathless. This isn't just about us sharing our knowledge and adventures though; no, instead, feel free to submit your own pictures and video, or even contribute a blog entry or two. Maybe, just maybe, something will spark your next great adventure. And isn't that what the outdoors are all about?
